About: After his graduation in 2008 from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, Timon van der Hijden works as an independent designer for clients and galleries. The basis of his work is graphic design. Timon van der Hijden is looking for new ways to work with old techniques. The study of three-dimensional graphic design plays a major role in his work. In addition, his work has an overlap with design, visual arts and performance. Where graphic design has its limitations, these disciplines attain new surprising expressions. Principles have been amazement, surprise and humor. Timon is also co-founder of La Bolleur and Letterproeftuin. ![]() |
